Vittorio and Vincenzo have received numerous accolades over the last year with their debut album sweeping the LA Music Awards, several songs from the album hitting #1 on Internet Rock Radio Charts and Top 15 on Billboard’s Hot Singles Sales Charts, as well as recently being named Breakout Rock Artist of the Year by DigitalRadioTracker.com.
Last Saturday, the boys received another recognition in their impressive climb to Rock N Roll stardom. Paul Tonelli and Chasta, co-hosts of the Lamont and Tonelli Show, on 107.7 The Bone, the most listened to morning show, on the biggest rock radio station in the entire San Francisco Bay Area attended the boys’ concert.
They had watched the boys’ online videos and listened to their albums, but were not prepared for what they witnessed LIVE when 12 year olds, Vittorio and Vincenzo of V² took the stage to perform an epic 24 song concert, playing their award winning original music, plus note-for-note covers of Led Zeppelin’s Rock N Roll, Black Sabbath’s War Pigs, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Gimme 3 Steps, Grand Funk Railroad’s American Band, KISS’ Rock N Roll All Night, plus AC/DC’s High Voltage, Back in Black and Long Way to the Top, complete with bagpipes!
At the end of the show, Paul Tonelli and Chasta addressed the cheering audience of young and old rock fans alike, proclaiming Vittorio and Vincenzo the “Greatest 12 Year Old Rockers in the World” and presented them with a special hollow body electric guitar signed by all of the The Bone’s on-air celebrity DJ’s acknowledging that in all the rock concerts they had been to over the last 20 years, they had never seen such an amazing performance.
They were so blown away, Paul, Chasta, and Lamont are still talking about the concert on the 107.7 The Bone’s Lamont and Tonelli Show.
